Which Route Do You Want To Take?

There are 7 established routes to the Kilimanjaro summit.  There is also a descent-only route called the Mweka Route.  There is one route, the Marangu Route, that offers sleeping huts and it ascends and descends on the same path.  Each of the routs has something different to offer, however, the choice is a personal decision.  You should research each route before yo decide which route would be best for you.  There are some considerations that need to be included onto your choice.  To make the choice easier, you should clarify your priorities.  Are you looking for a good acclimatization profile, scenery, wildlife, photography, duration, accommodation options, time of the year, how much money you have to spend, do you want to avoid crowds? Let your choice be informed.
